The Plaza Group (TPG) recently signed an agreement with Frontier to serve as the exclusive marketer of benzene produced at its refining facility in El Dorado, Kansas.
Wilf Kimball, The Plaza Group’s Benzene Business Director, commented on the renewal, saying, “The Plaza Group has been able to continue to demonstrate its capability to market all of the byproduct benzene and not impact the balance of the refinery operations.” TPG President, Randy Velarde, adds, “While we have been marketing chemicals produced at El Dorado since we opened our doors in 1994 -first under the Texaco umbrella, then as part of Equilon and today, as Frontier- we never take a contract renewal for granted. Each year it is our goal to bring fresh perspective and added value to our work with Frontier – and, indeed, to all our customer and supplier partners.”
