Today The Plaza Group announced the addition of Sales Director Wilf Kimball effective immediately. President Randy Velarde commented on the hiring saying, “We are pleased to be adding such a well-respected and established industry professional to the TPG team. Wilf brings years of expertise which we believe will complement our already strong sales team and will be instrumental in continuing the growth of our company.”
At age 62, Wilfred J. Kimball has been involved in the petrochemical industry for 39 years. Wilf began his career with Union Carbide in Canada, where over a period of 23 years in manufacturing and engineering, he was appointed plant manager of two world scale plants. The next 10 years were spent with BTL Specialty Resins involved in the management of the phenol and phenol derivatives businesses. He was President of BTL from 1989 through 1995 when he joined JML Industries as President of JML Chemicals. For the past two years, he has been involved in consulting to the chemical industry. Wilf holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of New Brunswick.
