Rich Olson
BIO
Rich started his energy career in 1985 with Koch Industries, Inc. spending 15 years in a variety of positions. Originally employed in Wichita, Rich worked for Koch Oil Company, Chase Pipeline Company and then Koch Refining Company where he held the position of Distribution Manager for Koch’s southern US refining system. He then relocated to Houston to start Koch Supply and Trading’s gasoline blending division as Manager, Gasoline Blending. He then moved on to manage Koch’s aromatic hydrocarbon solvent division before leaving the company in 2000 to join Conchemco, Ltd.
At Conchemco he held the position of Business Development Manager responsible for developing business through both distribution and direct consumer accounts on a local, regional and national level. He was then promoted to Vice President of Conchemco in 2006 responsible for supplier relations for toluene, xylene and acetone, developing marketing strategy, developing new product lines and maintaining effective risk management programs.
EDUCATION
Rich, a native of McPherson, KS, is a 1984 graduate of Kansas State University with dual degrees in Accounting and Management.
